The Aerodyne Pilot is one of the most consistently recommended intermediate canopies in skydiving. Built on a square platform, it is loved for great openings, a flat glide and a powerful flare. A combination that makes it forgiving and confidence-inspiring from the start. If you want a canopy that opens well, the Pilot delivers that reliably. It is often the first recommendation for jumpers stepping out of student gear and remains popular well into the intermediate progression. Due to its forgiving characteristics it can be put in a class with the PD Pulse or PD Horizon and is also commonly used for wingsuiting in larger sizes.
